Can be used for cooking or dehydrating. Can be used as a natural dye

Ripens: August. Elderberries are very high in vitamin C and often used in cold remedies.ZONE: 3

Elderberries grow well in a medium moist, well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Prune out weakened stems in early spring and cut to the ground every 2 years to encourage new, denser growth. Fruit production is increased when planted with another cultivar.
