Mascotte Bean

3613 - The Mascotte bean is  known for its ompact size and suitability for container growing. Even in a window box, this French filet bean will produce high yields of 13-15cm (5-6”) long pods that have excellent flavour and a crunchy texture. 

Plant during a warm, dry spell. Seeds should sprout in 8-16 days, depending on conditions. Plant in well drained, warm soil in full sun is best. Raised beds help with both drainage and warmth. Use 1 cup of complete organic fertilizer for every 3m (10′) of row.
