Danish Flag Poppy flower
7700 - The origins of the Danish Flag poppy, or “Danebrog,” predate 1888. The white spots at the base of the red frilled petals form a cross in the centre of the blooms, resembling the flag of Danmark. Single blooms on blue-green foliage about 2' high. Seedpods are ideal in dried flower arrangements. outdoors in late May as thinly as possible in groups spaced 0.25in./6 mm apart. Thin to 12 in./31cm apart, when seedlings are 2 in./5 cm high.
