Red Deer Tongue Lettuce

3056 - Deer Tongue, Red. 45 days. Leaves are long, pointed, and dark red all over, with a contrasting white midrib. Hard to classify by type. Begins as a unique dark red cutting type, then makes a butter-cos heart. Probably best as a spring lettuce. New selection for better uniformity.
